At 404 Macon Ave, the Cañon City Elks Lodge #610 has been a cornerstone of Fremont County for over a century. Walk through the front doors and you'll notice something immediately: people here actually know each other. Members greet newcomers by name, the bar smells like a well-run tavern, and the walls carry the kind of history you don't manufacture.

The lodge earns its 4.8-star rating the honest way. Members describe the food as wonderful, the atmosphere as warm, and the sense of belonging as something you feel the moment you arrive. Visitors passing through Cañon City have stopped in for a historical tour and left with souvenir pins and a genuine appreciation for what the Elks organization does for local families, youth programs, and veterans.

Events like the annual Octoberfest showcase exactly what Lodge #610 does best: live bands, multiple food stations, efficient bartenders who keep the lines moving, and a crowd that's there to have a real good time. This is not a dusty fraternal hall collecting cobwebs. It's an active, engaged community anchor on the banks of the Arkansas River valley.

What We Offer

Lodge #610 offers members and eligible guests a full-service bar and dining room where the kitchen turns out consistently solid meals. Whether it's a Friday night fish fry or a catered private event, the food earns compliments every time.

The lodge hosts a rotating calendar of community events, from Octoberfest celebrations featuring live music acts like Frady Catz and Six Bucks and a Flight, to charity fundraisers that direct dollars back into Cañon City schools, veterans' programs, and youth scholarships. The historic building itself is worth a visit, with guided tours available that walk guests through decades of local and national Elks history.

Membership opens the door to a national network of over 800,000 Elks members, reciprocal privileges at lodges across the country, and a local community that shows up when it matters. New member inquiries are always welcome at the lodge or through the national Elks contact portal.
